The Fall 2025 Trends You’ll See This Season

When the temperature starts dropping and the sun starts setting earlier and earlier, you know summer is coming to and end. Most New Yorkers hold onto every last bit of the warm weather, but I fully embrace the change.

Fall is my favorite season. Not just because my birthday happens to be in mid-October, but when the air gets chillier, bundling up in warm clothes eases my soul.

Before you run to your wardrobe to break out your Fall attire, let’s break down this season’s trends.

Suede

If I had to pick one fabric to invest in this Fall it would be suede. Made of the underside of animal hide, suede usually comes in neutral colors like camel or beige- perfect to all to your fall palette. Try pairing a suede skirt with a button down to work or just add a suede accessory like knee high boots.

Burgundy leather

What would fall be without a little bit of leather? Yes the red hue is back for Fall in a fresh vibrant way. Think less cherry red and more of a glass of Merlot. A deep red in leather is a bold choice, bringing out a rocker-chic vibe to a feminine color. Similar to suede, add burgundy accessories or dabble in a lipstick in a dark red.

Preppy and Sporty Chic

Coming off strong from the an exciting US Open championship, the tennis hype stays strong. That’s right- the preppy look is back and it’s going to be a Ralph Lauren Fall! One item I’m already seeing everywhere is the long sleeve rugby tee- tying a collegiate state of mind.

Animal Print

I couldn’t leave this list without some animal print (it’s a neutral in my eyes). This season, it’s all about the cow print. Ever since Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter album came out, the girls are holding true to the western trend. Keep it chic with a cow print jacket or cowhide shorts and high knee boots. Yeehaw!
